Fair questions
Is this another to-do list?
No. Lists show you everything and ask you to choose. First Star shows you one thing and asks you to start. The rest of the pile stays out of sight until it's that task's turn.
What happens if I disappear for a week?
Nothing bad. You have no streak to lose and no red badge waiting. Your wins sit exactly where you left them, and the app greets you the same way it always does.
Why no streaks?
Streak chains punish the exact brains this app serves. One bad day shouldn't erase thirty good ones, so we count lifetime wins instead: a number that only goes up.
What does the AI actually see?
Only the thoughts themselves. Each sort sends that dump to Anthropic's Claude and the sorted list comes back; your email, your account, who you are, none of that goes with it. And seriously, none of it traces back to you, because I don't store the dumps at all. Your private stuff has no business sitting on my server, and keeping it would land me in legal hot water I'd rather read about than experience. Your words don't train any model, and the AI key never touches your phone.
Isn't the AI part an environmental problem?
Yeah, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Data centers burn power and drink water, and AI gets force-fed to customers in most products now, which I also hate.
Still, I know how much ADHD and neurodivergence can wreck a life. I've had the stretches myself where the house is a mess, work drains every bit of energy, and studies are the final nail in the coffin, and you're genuinely stuck. Untangling that mess so you can get on with actually living is the one thing I think AI is properly good at.
So the rule I hold myself to is: as little as possible. The smallest model that does the job. One call when you ask for a sort, nothing running in the background, nothing quietly summarizing your life while you sleep. Everything else, writing things down, the timer, your wins, never leaves your phone. It isn't zero, but keeping it as small as I can is something I actually care about. Also it drains my wallet slower, lol.
Who built this, and is it going to leak?
Me, one person, and nah, it's not another bit of vibe-coded trash that hands your data to the first SQL injection that wanders past. Five-plus years in the field, QA and development, practical as well as academic, and I'm easy enough to look up on socials if you want to check I'm a real human (please don't stalk me though, thanks). The database is locked down, no secret ever ships inside the app, and I've guarded the keys better than the Vatican guards its archive. No matter what happens, your brain dumps can't leak from a server they were never on.
